Manufacturing Accounting Manager | Finance & OperationsDirect Hire | $85,000 to $125,000 Based on Experience A strong and rapidly growing manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to take ownership of the company accounting and financial operations. This is a key position for an accounting professional with a strong manufacturing background who can manage the daily accounting function while providing financial reporting, analysis, and financial oversight to company leadership.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong accounting foundation and manufacturing experience who enjoys being hands on, working independently, and taking ownership of the financial function within a growing organization. ResponsibilitiesManage daily accounting and financial operations within a manufacturing environmentMaintain accurate and complete financial records using QuickBooksOversee accounts payable and accounts receivableManage general ledger activity, account reconciliations, and month end closeManage and reconcile inventory related accounting activityMonitor COGS and manufacturing related costsSupport inventory valuation and ensure accurate inventory reportingReview manufacturing costs, margins, and related financial activityPrepare and review financial statements and management reportsMonitor cash flow and provide visibility into the company financial positionSupport budgeting, forecasting, and financial planningEnsure financial records are accurate, organized, and currentIdentify opportunities to improve accounting processes, controls, and reportingWork closely with company leadership and operations to provide meaningful financial information that supports business decisionsTake ownership of accounting and financial processes as the company continues to growRequired QualificationsStrong accounting background with experience in a manufacturing environment ( Required) Strong understanding of general ledger accounting, reconciliations, accounts payable, and accounts receivableExperience with manufacturing accounting, including inventory and COGSExperience with inventory reconciliations and financial reporting related to manufacturing operationsUnderstanding of manufacturing costs, including materials, labor, and overheadExperience preparing and reviewing financial statements and management reportsProficiency with QuickBooks Experience managing a broad range of accounting and financial responsibilitiesStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to work independently, prioritize responsibilities, and take ownership of the accounting functionStrong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with company leadership and operationsExperience working within a growing manufacturing company environment INDQT
