PM Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead daily accounting operations and ensure accurate, timely financial reporting for our client in Dalton, GA. This role oversees month- and year-end close, manages general ledger activities, and supports budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls. Why Apply? Responsibilities:
Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure compliance Support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning with finance and operations teams Manage and mentor accounting staff; provide guidance and performance feedback Coordinate with external auditors and support annual audit processes Identify and implement process improvements in accounting operations
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with 2+ years in a supervisory/managerial role Strong knowledge of GAAP, month-end close, and financial reporting Experience with ERP/accounting systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, QuickBooks Enterprise) Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills Manufacturing or plant accounting experience is a plus #HSR125
