Job Description

PURPOSE AND SCOPE
The Sr Manager, Payor Revenue Programs manages, prepares, administers, and directs the implementation of payor revenue and patient insurance coordination projects and initiatives. This role is responsible for managing all aspects of payor revenue and insurance coordination project/program implementation, including the monitoring, analysis and evaluation of pertinent financial data, patient volumes, project timelines, and implementation performance. The Sr Manager, Payor Revenue Programs will coordinate and manage cross-functional projects to optimize Fresenius Kidney Care payor revenue and patient insurance coordination.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and monitor project plans to support the effective implementation of revenue and insurance coordination initiatives. Drive projects and initiatives that align with Managed Care, Revenue Integrity, and Insurance Coordination goals, including evaluation, training, and implementation tracking. Maintain and produce analytical reports to track financial and operational impact of payor revenue and insurance coordination projects/programs. Manage the tactical execution of project/program objectives, including cost management, methods, systems, staffing, and implementation. Ensure project/program compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant laws, establishing internal systems to promote compliance across the team. Participate in and lead meetings, problem resolution, and coordination across internal departments and external customers. Assist with other payor revenue and insurance coordination related duties as needed. Manage and lead the tactical execution of short- and long-term programs through the coordination of cross-functional activities with a direct responsibility for results. Manage the coordination and completion of diverse monthly processes. Lead the development and implementation of strategic plans, annual forecasts, project plans, cost analyses, budgets, and financial processes for assigned projects; providing ad hoc analyses as necessary. Act as Subject Matter Expert and liaison for cross-divisional teams and management. Provide technical guidance applicable to assigned projects/programs. Assist with various payor revenue and insurance coordination projects as assigned.

SUPERVISION

EDUCATION
Bachelor's Degree required; Advanced Degree desirable.
EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS
6 - 8 years' related experience. 3+ years' experience as a Manager preferred. Strong computer skills with advanced proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, database, presentation, and email applications. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and client conditions. Strong project management and time management skills with the ability to multitask concurrent priorities in an organized manner. Self-starter with the ability to work independently under minimal supervision. Strong interpersonal skills to effectively lead cohesive and productive teams. Proactive management style with creative problem-solving skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively communicate with all levels of management.
