- GT Savannah Campus, Dean GTPE, faculty in the unit, direct reports to the Exec. Director and GT Budget office This position typically will advise and counsel: The Executive Director
- GT Savannah campus, Dean GTPE, Academic Program Directors and direct reports to the Executive Director This position will supervise: There is not a large staff on the Savannah Campus, but the scope of the job is still very large. At the present time the position does not supervise anyone, but we are looking to add staff in the coming year Responsibilities Job Duty 1
- Developing and implementing financial policies and procedures and tools to best served the Campus and ensure compliance with GT and state policy Job Duty 2
- Awarding, managing, and providing oversight for seed grants, collaborating with other units to manage balances and obtaining work-tag numbers Job Duty 3
- Managing/overseeing the finances for campus sponsored projects including GTRC, GTF and revenue accounts Job Duty 4
- Annual reporting requirements for the USG Job Duty 5
- Establishing and managing individual state projects Job Duty 6
- Preparing sub-projects and subcontracts on sponsored, state and foundation funds Job Duty 7
- Balance and post monthly budget amendments, monthly reports, project numbers and journals entries Job Duty 8
- Perform other related job duties assigned Required Qualifications Educational Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business, or an equivalent combination of education and experience Required Experience Five to seven years of job-related experience: accounting and business experience related to programs, preferably in a university environment Preferred Qualifications Preferred Educational Qualifications Master's Degree Preferred Experience Seven or more years in a university environment Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities SKILLS Must be successful in managing programs and processes in a complex financial system.
Salary Range:
$74,966.00- $89,000.
