POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Financial Team Lead (Pharma) serves as an internal resource for our Event Management business unit, specifically supporting the Sanofi account. The Team Lead maintains a positive and professional relationship with both the Sanofi client contact as well as the ITA Group Account Executive (AE) and serve as their main point of contact in regards to spend and financial processes and strategy. The Team Lead provides leadership and guidance to the internal team by demonstrating professionalism and knowledge of the account.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in accounting or related major with twelve semester hours of accounting to include one cost accounting course. Minimum one year of experience as a Senior or Lead Event Accountant or five years of accounting related work experience, preferably in the Performance Marketing industry and two years of travel-related work experience. Ability to train and give work direction to team members. Ability to organize work and manage several projects simultaneously to meet established deadlines. Ability to apply analytical thinking and ability to communicate this to others in an understandable fashion. Personal computer experience; Excel and Word preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Effective interpersonal skills. Ability to represent ITA Group with professionalism in interacting with internal and external clients. Flexibility to occasionally travel to client meetings. Professional and positive attitude. Ability to listen, understand and respond to external and internal customers' needs in a timely manner; customer service experience in a service-related industry preferred. Ability to work the time necessary to complete projects and/or meet deadlines.
