$80,000-$100,000 + Discretionary Bonus Position Overview Our client is seeking an Accounting Manager to join its team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting professional who enjoys being hands-on while taking ownership of key accounting functions. The Accounting Manager will play an important role in day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, payroll, job costing, and the month-end close process. This position offers meaningful responsibility and long-term growth within a stable organization. Key Responsibilities Help oversee daily accounting operations and support the accounting team Manage accounts receivable invoicing and collections Prepare and review journal entries and general ledger activity Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes Manage job cost analysis and construction-related financial reporting Maintain work-in-progress schedules and support percentage-of-completion accounting Oversee fixed assets and corporate insurance administration Identify opportunities to strengthen accounting processes and improve efficiencies Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 5-10+ years of progressive accounting experience Construction or contracting industry experience preferred Strong knowledge of job costing, WIP schedules, and percentage-of-completion revenue recognition Payroll experience preferred Advanced Microsoft Excel skills CPA is a plus Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills Compensation & Benefits $90,000-$100,000 base salary Discretionary bonus Healthcare benefits Paid time off and paid holidays 401(k) with company match
