Accounting Manager

Job DescriptionJob Description Job Roles and Responsibilities Lead the month-end close process and prepare financial statements. Manage general ledger activities including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations. Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow. Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. Manage fixed asset accounting, capital expenditures, and depreciation schedules. Handle inventory accounting including cycle counts and variance analysis. Prepare budget-to-actual reports and financial variance analysis. Manage audit processes and act as liaison with external auditors. Maintain and improve internal controls and accounting procedures. Ensure compliance with state and local tax filings and regulations. Collaborate with production and operations teams to analyze cost drivers. Provide ad hoc financial analysis and reporting. Qualifications and Certifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field. 4 or more years of accounting experience in manufacturing or related industry. Strong understanding of accounting principles and internal controls. Experience with ERP or accounting systems. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel including formulas and data analysis tools. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
