Full-Time Engagement Professional (Accounting & Finance) Robert Half - Chicago, IL (On-site) Robert Half is expanding our Full-Time Engagement Professionals (FTEP) / Loan Staff team in the Chicago (city-proper) market and is hiring multiple professionals to join our growing practice. This is a unique opportunity to be a permanent employee of Robert Half while working on a variety of high-impact, project-based assignments with leading organizations. Our professionals are deployed on interim and project engagements aligned to their experience, skill set, and career goals. About the Role As a Full-Time Engagement Professional, you will support clients across a range of industries on critical accounting and finance initiatives. Engagements are primarily local to Chicago and onsite, with some opportunities for remote work depending on the project. This role is ideal for professionals with a public accounting or corporate accounting background who are looking to accelerate their careers through diverse, hands-on experience. Key Responsibilities Step into key accounting and finance roles to support client needs on an interim or project basis Execute day-to-day and project-based accounting functions with minimal ramp-up time Support month-end and year-end close processes Assist with financial reporting, reconciliations, and audit preparation Partner with client leadership to deliver on project objectives and deadlines Project Exposure May Include M&A (acquisition, divestiture, integration) ERP implementations and system upgrades (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, etc.) Process improvements and remediation efforts Technical accounting (ASC 606, ASC 842, etc.) SEC and management reporting Internal audit and risk management Controllership coverage/backfill Financial transformation and automation initiatives Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance 3+ years of accounting or finance experience (public accounting strongly preferred) Strong technical accounting and problem-solving skills Advanced Excel skills; ERP experience highly preferred Ability to adapt quickly in new environments and deliver immediate value Compensation & Benefits Salary range: $95K - $115K (based on experience) Full-time, permanent employment with Robert Half Paid year-round (including time between engagements) Comprehensive benefits package Exposure to a wide range of industries, systems, and leadership teams Why Join Robert Half FTEP Accelerate your career with diverse project experience Gain exposure to top companies-from high-growth startups to Fortune 500 organizations Build your technical skillset across systems, industries, and functions Opportunity to collaborate on projects with Protiviti, a global consulting firm and Robert Half subsidiary The salary range for this position is $95,000 to $115,000/year, plus bonus.
