Job Description The Manager, APS Portfolio Finance supports the Patient Services Portfolio and Copay Center of Excellence (COE) by overseeing financial planning and analysis, reporting, monthly close support, and business decision support across patient support and copay programs. This role partners with Patient Services and Copay COE stakeholders to ensure accurate planning, forecasting, variance analysis, and budget management. The position is responsible for coaching and developing one direct report. Responsibilities Partner with Patient Services and Copay COE teams to develop accurate LBE, Plan, LRP forecasts including P&L expenses, program spend, and headcount. Understand key business drivers and propose solutions that support approved budgets and portfolio priorities. Provide relevant variance analysis for each planning cycle and develop meaningful management reporting, ensuring accuracy, predictability, and clear communication of results, risks, opportunities, and key metrics. Support the monthly close process to ensure complete, accurate, and timely actual results, including review of expenses, accruals, variance commentary, and management reporting packages for patient services and copay activities. Provide routine financial guidance and business decision support for patient services and copay initiatives, including scenario analysis, investment trade-off support, and recommendations that enable informed decision-making. Review and approve financial activity such as purchase order requests, invoices, accruals, and other spend-related transactions in compliance with financial policies and controls. Support key projects and process improvements for the Patient Services Portfolio and Copay COE, including planning standardization, reporting optimization, financial controls, and ad hoc analyses as required. Manage one direct report, providing coaching, prioritization, feedback, and development support to ensure timely, high-quality work product and continued growth. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required. 7-10 years of progressive finance/accounting experience with focus on FP&A and Capital management required. 2+ years of people management/supervisory experience required. Advanced Excel skills (financial modeling, pivot tables, complex formulas). Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing requirements. Ability to work collaboratively within teams, influence without authority, and interact with both technical and business partners. Experience with SAP or equivalent ERP system.
