Accounting Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a Corporate Accounting Manager to serve in a key leadership position within the Corporate Controller's organization responsible for overseeing critical accounting operations, financial reporting, and team leadership functions. This role manages the accounting and reporting processes related to fixed assets, payroll accounting, corporate SG&A expenses, intercompany transactions, and account reconciliations. In addition, the role leads a team of accounting professionals, drives process improvements, and supports corporate initiatives that enhance reporting accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.

Pay Rate Range:
$72/hr - $83/hr Manage and review journal entries related to payroll, fixed assets, SG&A expenses, and intercompany transactions. Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. Review account reconciliations, account analyses, and general ledger controls. Coordinate preparation and delivery of financial reports and management reporting packages. Lead accounting activities for Property, Plant & Equipment transactions. Manage capitalization, depreciation, disposals, and fixed asset reporting. Oversee payroll accounting processes, payroll accruals, and payroll-added cost allocations. Ensure accurate accounting treatment and compliance for compensation-related expenses. Strong background in Corporate Accounting, General Ledger, and Financial Reporting Experience managing fixed asset accounting (Property, Plant & Equipment) Expertise in payroll accounting, payroll-related accruals, and employee-related costs Knowledge of SG&A accounting, accruals, and expense management Experience with intercompany accounting and reconciliations Financial statement analysis and month-end close leadership Familiarity with GAAP, accounting policy implementation, and accounting research Understanding of FASB and AICPA guidance and accounting standards Experience supporting internal and external audits Budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis experience SAP ERP experience preferred Experience with SAP BPC Consolidations or similar consolidation/reporting tools An inspirational place for you to do your best work, be engaged in meaningful ways, and continually develop the skills, competencies and qualities that set our team apart.
