What You'll Be Doing:

Lead, mentor, and develop a talented accounting team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement Own the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting Oversee general ledger activities, reconciliations, accruals, fixed assets, and depreciation accounting Review complex accounting transactions and financial analyses while maintaining GAAP compliance Partner closely with operational leaders on budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis Support major capital projects and investments through effective project and fixed asset accounting Strengthen internal controls and streamline processes to enhance efficiency and scalability Lead audit preparation efforts and serve as a key liaison with external auditors Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to executive leadership Champion automation and system enhancements that drive business growth

What We're Looking For:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibilities Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, month-end close, and general ledger accounting Experience with fixed assets, capital projects, construction, real estate, or project accounting is highly valued Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and drive results CPA or CPA candidate preferred
