Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee the daily accounting operations of our franchised automotive dealerships. This position is responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining strong internal controls, supervising the accounting team, and providing dealership leadership with timely financial information and operational insights. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily accounting operations and supervise accounting staff Manage the monthly closing process and ensure financial statements are completed accurately and on time Review and reconcile general ledger accounts, bank accounts, and balance sheet schedules Ensure compliance with manufacturer financial reporting requirements Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll coordination, and cash management Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports Maintain strong internal controls and identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiency Coordinate with external auditors, tax professionals, banks, and other financial institutions Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash-flow management Provide financial analysis and operational insights to dealership leadership Train, mentor, and develop accounting team members Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred Five or more years of progressive accounting experience Previous management or supervisory experience preferred Automotive dealership accounting experience is a plus but not required Dealertrack experience is a plus but not required Strong Microsoft Excel skills Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership abilities High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail Why Join Us?
