Job Description

North Easton Savings Bank seeks a driven Mortgage Loan Originator to join our Financial Services team in the Banking, Insurance & Investment industry. You will build and manage a pipeline of residential mortgage clients, conduct thorough borrower assessments, and recommend suitable loan products while ensuring strict regulatory and policy compliance. Partnering with underwriting, processing, and closing teams, you'll deliver an efficient, client-focused experience. Responsibilities Originate residential mortgage loans in line with North Easton Savings Bank credit policies and regulatory guidelines Develop and manage a pipeline of prospects through referrals, networking, and community outreach Conduct detailed borrower consultations, pre-qualifications, and pre-approvals Analyze income, credit, assets, and collateral to recommend appropriate mortgage products Present and explain loan options, terms, and disclosures clearly to borrowers Coordinate with underwriting, processing, and closing teams to ensure timely, accurate loan closings Maintain detailed documentation and data integrity in LOS and CRM systems Ensure compliance with federal, state, and investor regulations (e.g., TRID, RESPA, ECOA) Achieve production, quality, and customer satisfaction targets Represent the bank professionally in community and industry events Required Skills Mortgage origination Residential lending guidelines (Agency and portfolio) Loan Origination System (LOS) software Credit and income analysis Automated underwriting systems (DU/LP) Regulatory compliance (TRID, RESPA, ECOA, TILA) Sales and pipeline management Customer relationship management (CRM) tools Loan documentation and file structuring Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
