certified manufacturing facility is located in Nashua, New Hampshire and is where we assemble and package all of our products in a clean-room environment. Critical Process cartridge, capsule and laboratory products are being used today by leading companies in the life sciences, food and beverage, healthcare, water purification and technology industries. Job Summary:

The Accounting Manager is primarily responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of accounting operations to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with applicable standards. This position directs and coordinates activities related to general accounting functions, financial statement preparation and internal controls, while supporting organizational financial initiatives.

Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee general ledger accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations. Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP. Lead month-end and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting. Prepare and/or review balance sheet reconciliations and perform account analysis to identify and resolve discrepancies. Provide guidance and mentorship to accounting staff. Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis activities. Prepare documentation and respond to external audit requests. Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner; gather and analyze information skillfully; develop alternative solutions.. Respond promptly to organizational needs; meet commitments and maintain strong working relationships. Coordinate activities with internal departments to best support organizational goals. Support ongoing financial initiatives while maintaining existing operations.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) in Accounting, Finance, or related field; and 7+ years of related experience, public accounting background a plus. Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and account reconciliation processes. Strong analytical and organizational skills. Experience in the Manufacturing Industry. Ability to work effectively both independently and in group problem-solving situations. Experience mentoring or leading accounting staff preferred. Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner. Ability to manage multiple priorities. Proficiency in relevant software such as Microsoft Excel, Word, and experience with ERP Systems. Experience in preparing budgets and projections. Ability to communicate effectively (both written and verbal). Ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
