Join Our Team We are looking for a business manager who is ready to step into a leadership role and take ownership of the financial and operational health of our agency. At Market Mentors, we operate as a fully integrated marketing agency and an extension of our clients' teams. Internally, we hold ourselves to a high standard. We move with urgency, we take ownership, and we expect results. This role sits on our Leadership Team and plays a critical role in how we operate, grow, and make decisions. What You'll Be Part Of You will work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure our financial systems, processes, and people are aligned and performing. This is a hands-on role for someone who: Leads by example Brings structure and clarity Holds others accountable Sees both the details and the bigger picture What You'll Do As Controller, you will oversee the financial health of the organization while ensuring operational excellence across finance, HR, and internal systems.
You will:
Lead financial planning, reporting, and compliance efforts Ensure accurate, timely reporting to support business decisions Manage cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting Oversee A/R, A/P, payroll, and financial processes Partner with external vendors including CPA and financial partners Support internal operations across HR, office administration, and IT coordination Implement and maintain systems, controls, and processes that scale with the business Core Accountabilities Lead, Manage, and Hold Accountability (LMA) Financial Budgeting, Reporting & Compliance HR Administration Oversight Office Operations & IT Oversight Legal, Contracts & Insurance Management What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who combines strong financial expertise with operational leadership. Experience in accounting and finance at a management level Must be very proficient in QuickBooks, Microsoft products (specifically Excel) and data visualization tools Strong understanding of financial statements, cash flow, and reporting Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning Knowledge of GAAP and compliance requirements Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead through others Clear and consistent communication skills Why Join Market Mentors We're a growing agency that values people who want to contribute, improve, and lead.
