Job Description

The Foundation seeks an individual with deep financial acumen and strong problem-solving skills to serve as its manager of Finance. This role will oversee the accounting of the Foundation's Investment portfolio for book- and tax-reporting purposes and will manage general ledger accounting and financial reporting efforts.
This role will also:
Lead an annual audit by coordinating field work with auditors and preparing requested paperwork Oversee the timely and accurate completion of general ledger accounting Manage the preparation of all financial reporting, including monthly budget to actual reports, and annual financial statements Assist with reports and presentations for management and trustee meetings Oversee treasury activities, including cash projections, reconciliations and risk management The ideal candidate will have: Demonstrated knowledge and experience related to tax and financial accounting At least a bachelor's degree in accounting (a master's degree in accounting, finance or business is preferred) Certified Public Accounting license Enthusiasm for tackling challenges and being a team player Strong analytical and critical thinking skills; and Strong interpersonal skills Nonprofit or philanthropic experience is a plus
