Job Description

Head of Capital Formation Singh Capital Partners | Bethesda, MD | On-Site | Full-Time $130,000 - $160,000 a year, plus performance-based compensation Singh Capital Partners is a private investment firm investing across real estate, private equity, venture capital, and operating businesses. We're hiring a Head of Capital Formation to lead the firm's capital raising. This is a founding seat, but you're not starting cold. We have established relationships with investors who have backed us before. Your mandate is to reactivate that base, deepen those relationships, and convert them into new commitments — then extend outward from there. You'll report directly to the Chief Investment Officer and own the capital raising function outright. Fund administration, capital calls, and investor reporting are handled internally by our finance and operations team, so your time goes where it should: in front of investors. Responsibilities Reactivate and deepen relationships with our existing investor base, converting them into new and expanded commitments Extend the network outward to family offices, RIAs, wealth platforms, and high-net-worth investors Own the full fundraising process: positioning, pitch materials, meetings, due diligence responses, term discussions, and closing commitments Build, track, and report on the capital formation pipeline Represent the firm at conferences, investor events, and meetings Shape the firm's investor-facing narrative and market positioning Qualifications 8+ years in capital formation, fundraising, or investor coverage at a private equity, real estate, venture, or alternative asset platform Demonstrated track record of converting warm investor relationships into committed capital, including specific amounts raised, investor types, and time periods Command of fund economics, structures, and the diligence process investors run Comfortable working a defined book rather than building one from scratch Comfortable building process from zero — there is no existing platform, deck library, or CRM to inherit Strong judgment about which investors to pursue and which to pass on Discretion, without exception Bachelor's degree Preferred Experience raising capital for a first-time or emerging investment manager Existing investor relationships in the DMV and Mid-Atlantic FINRA Series 7 and 63, or willingness to obtain CFA, CAIA, or MBA Benefits Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) Paid time off and company holidays Performance-based compensation tied to capital raised, structured individually
