About Us Streamline Property Management is a growing residential property management company overseeing a large portfolio of single-family homes. As we continue to grow, we're investing in our in-house maintenance team to better serve our residents and property owners. Our culture is a tight-knit group who enjoy being with each other and are supportive so that everyone is successful. This is where you come in. We're looking for the perfect person who shares our vision to grow our internal maintenance division. Position Overview We're looking for a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician (Handyman) to not only handle day-to-day repairs and maintenance but also to help build the foundation of our internal maintenance division . You'll can count on steady work — at least 30-35 hours/week, consistently . If you're someone who takes pride in your work and wants to be part of building something from the start, this role is for you. Key Responsibilities
- Perform general handyman and repair work, including: Minor plumbing (leaks, clogged drains, fixture replacement) Electrical (light fixtures, outlets, switches) Drywall repair and painting Door, window, and hardware adjustments Appliance troubleshooting Fence/gate repairs, minor exterior maintenance
- Complete assigned work orders in a timely and professional manner
- Conduct preventative maintenance and identify issues before they become problems
- Respond to urgent maintenance requests as needed
- Communicate clearly with the property management team about job status, materials needed, and completion timelines
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work environment
- Maintain accurate records of work completed via property management software or reporting tools Requirements
- Have a valid driver's license in good standing
- Have competency in the use of various power tools
- Have at least 5 years of construction/maintenance experience
- Comfortable with face-to-face customer interactions
- Be able to diagnose and communicate repair requirements to both tenants and property managers.
- Take accurate and clear notes
- Competency in basic software systems
- Previous experience in residential painting is advantageous but not mandatory.
- A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality. How you'll be compensated for your services:
- Hourly salary with a minimum number of hours of work year round
