Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to support a manufacturing operation on a Long-term Contract basis. This role is well suited for a senior-level accounting specialist who can provide steady leadership, oversee core accounting activities, and help maintain continuity during an extended period of business change. The position is primarily remote, with limited travel as needed, and offers the opportunity to contribute within a focused manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Direct month-end close activities, ensuring accurate and timely completion of financial reporting for the manufacturing site.
  • Oversee general ledger accuracy by reviewing transactions, maintaining proper account structure, and resolving discrepancies.
  • Prepare and approve journal entries while supporting strong documentation and adherence to accounting controls.
  • Lead account reconciliation efforts to confirm balances are complete, supported, and aligned with reporting requirements.
  • Coordinate audit-related deliverables by compiling schedules, responding to requests, and assisting with financial statement review processes.
  • Support accounting operations during ongoing business and manufacturing changes, helping sustain reporting continuity and process stability.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and leadership to provide financial insight and maintain effective accounting support for the site.
