+ Par | Indoor Pickleball Golf Restaurant & Events Paddle
+ Par is a new kind of hospitality and entertainment experience, combining indoor pickleball, golf, food & beverage, events, and a high-energy social atmosphere. We are looking for a hands-on Accounting Manager who enjoys getting into the details and making sure the numbers actually tell the right story. This is not a role for someone who simply wants to review reports at the end of the month. We need someone who is willing to get into the weeds , understand where our data is coming from, reconcile information across multiple systems, identify discrepancies, and build confidence that our financial information is accurate and complete. What You'll Do Accounting & Financial Operations Own day-to-day accounting operations and ensure transactions are properly recorded, classified, reconciled, and supported. Maintain the general ledger and ensure accurate and timely month-end close. Perform detailed reconciliations across bank accounts, credit cards, accounts payable, revenue, payroll, and other balance sheet accounts. Review financial information at the transaction level when necessary to identify errors, inconsistencies, or unusual activity. Help establish and maintain strong accounting processes and internal controls. Work closely with ownership and management to explain financial results and identify areas that require attention. Restaurant & F&B Accounting Manage and analyze information coming through MarginEdge , including invoices, purchasing, inventory, recipe/cost information, and food & beverage margins. Ensure invoices are properly coded and captured in the accounting system. Review inventory and cost-of-goods information for accuracy and completeness. Monitor food and beverage costs and investigate variances or unexpected changes in margins. Work with the restaurant/operations team to ensure purchasing, inventory, waste, comps, discounts, and other F&B activity are being properly captured. Help management understand the relationship between sales, purchasing, inventory, labor, and profitability. Revenue & Systems Integration Reconcile and validate data flowing into QuickBooks from our various operating systems, including GoTab, PodPlay , and other technology platforms. Understand how revenue and transaction data moves from our operating systems into accounting. Identify and resolve discrepancies between point-of-sale/activity systems and QuickBooks. Develop and maintain processes for daily/weekly reconciliation of sales, cash, credit cards, fees, memberships, bookings, and other revenue streams. Work with software providers and internal teams when system or integration issues impact financial reporting. Payroll & HR Support Manage or oversee payroll processing and ensure payroll information is accurate and timely. Reconcile payroll and payroll-related liabilities. Assist with onboarding, employee records, benefits administration, and other HR-related processes. Partner with management on payroll, timekeeping, and employee-related accounting matters. Help ensure compliance with applicable payroll and employment requirements. What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who is: Extremely detail-oriented and naturally curious about how numbers got to where they are. Comfortable getting into the weeds rather than simply accepting a report at face value. Strong at reconciliation, problem-solving, and identifying discrepancies. Comfortable working with multiple systems and figuring out how they interact. Experienced with QuickBooks and comfortable learning and managing integrations with other platforms. Familiar with restaurant, hospitality, entertainment, retail, or other businesses with high transaction volume. Experienced with or comfortable learning MarginEdge, GoTab, PodPlay , and similar operational systems. Comfortable working with inventory, COGS, labor, and F&B margin analysis. Able to manage payroll and handle basic HR responsibilities. Organized, accountable, and capable of working independently. Comfortable communicating with both ownership/leadership and operational employees. Someone who doesn't just identify a problem — you dig in, figure out why it happened, and help fix the process so it doesn't happen again. Ideal Experience 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in hospitality, restaurants, entertainment, retail, or another multi-revenue business. Experience with QuickBooks. Restaurant/F&B accounting experience is a strong plus. Experience with MarginEdge or similar restaurant accounting/inventory platforms is highly preferred. Experience with POS and operational systems such as GoTab, booking/reservation platforms, membership systems, or activity-based revenue systems is a plus. Payroll experience required; HR experience is a plus. Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred, but relevant hands-on experience is equally important. The Person We're Looking For The right person for Paddle
+ Par is someone who can look at a number and say: "That doesn't look right. Let me figure out why." You enjoy solving accounting puzzles, tracing transactions back to their source, reconciling multiple systems, and building processes that make the business more accurate and efficient. You'll have the opportunity to work closely with ownership and operations and play an important role in building the financial infrastructure of a growing entertainment and hospitality business. If you're a hands-on accounting professional who likes being close to the business — not buried in a spreadsheet somewhere — we'd love to hear from you.
