Assists the Chief Financial Officer with budgets and financial reports. This position reports to Chief Financial Officer
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
  • ESSENTIAL
FUNCTIONS
Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports. Responsible for general ledger including preparation and recording of journal entries. Maintain Fixed Asset and depreciation schedules. Maintain bank accounts and reconciliations. Month end and Year end close process. Financial and research analysis Research and develop accounting software and procedures. Assist with janitorial and grounds bid estimates and submission process. Prepare annual financial budgets. Prepare work papers and schedules for all balance sheet accounts. Facilitate annual audit process for all TPG companies. Supervise accounting employees. Work under time constraints to meet specific timelines. Adhere to all applicable safety practices. Comprehensive understanding of customer service, principles and practices. Promote and exhibit Company culture and values. Other duties as assigned by management.
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree in accounting or business, with at least 5 years of progressive experience. Strong math, data entry skills and analytical thinker Microsoft Office (strong emphasis in Word & Excel). Must be familiar with JD Edwards. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced office environment and work flexible hours based on the needs of the Company Strong written and verbal communication skills
