$70,000•100,000, based on experience Please complete this survey before applying: https://go.cultureindex.com/p/ex1d2mRArjxzaeFNBVM Revive Realty Group is a growing real estate investment company that owns and self-manages approximately 160 single-family rentals and acquires approximately 70 properties annually. We are seeking a hands-on Finance & Accounting Manager to oversee our accounting, financial reporting, cash-flow forecasting and cost analysis. This is not a traditional bookkeeping role. We need someone who can ensure our numbers are accurate and use them to help ownership make better financial decisions. Responsibilities Oversee accounting across multiple real estate and operating entities Manage and review the coding and property assignment of approximately 1,000 monthly transactions Supervise offshore or junior accounting staff Own the monthly close and produce accurate property•and entity-level financial statements Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, mortgages, escrow accounts and intercompany activity Maintain mortgage, debt, fixed-asset and property-cost schedules Prepare and regularly update a rolling 13-week cash-flow forecast Project acquisition, renovation, debt-service and operating cash requirements Recommend when credit-line usage is necessary and help minimize borrowing costs Analyze costs by property, vendor, contractor and expense category Compare renovation budgets with actual costs and identify overruns Evaluate maintenance trends, property profitability and opportunities to improve NOI Improve accounting procedures, internal controls and reporting systems Coordinate year-end reporting and tax preparation with the company's CPA Qualifications Three or more years of hands-on accounting and finance experience Strong QuickBooks Online and Excel skills Experience with multi-entity accounting, monthly closings, budgeting and cash-flow forecasting Real estate, property management, homebuilding or construction accounting experience strongly preferred Experience with property-level accounting, renovation job costing and mortgage accounting preferred Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related field preferred CPA or CMA helpful but not required The ideal candidate is highly accurate, analytical and comfortable investigating discrepancies, improving processes and communicating financial concerns directly to ownership. This position offers the opportunity to develop into a Controller as the company grows. Selected applicants may be asked to complete a behavioral assessment and a practical accounting and cash-flow exercise.
