As Coric expands its branch and distribution network, we're looking for a seasoned Accounting Manager to improve the speed and standardization of financial processes across branches.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Accounting Manager Leadership & Strategy Serve as a strategic partner and advisor to the Corporate and Regional Controller, along with Branches and Operations team on all matters related to general accounting for accounts receivable & accounts payable. Own and evolve Coric's general accounting, aligning workforce plans with company growth, new branch openings, and business objectives. Lead Accounting Technicians in both accounts receivable and accounts payable administration. Ensure timely generation of Coric invoices to customers, routine follow-up with customer collection calls, distribution of statements, accurate cash application to the receivable aging subledger, and routine balancing of the receivable subledger to the general ledger. Ensure timely entry of accounts payable vender invoices, matching Coric purchase orders and receiving reports or securing invoice approval, for scheduled payment. Secure and manage Coric check stock to preclude theft or fraud. General Accounting Team Leadership & Operations Build, lead, and develop a team of Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable Technicians. Manage current Technicians remotely located at branch operations and replace those heads at Corporate Office as attrition occurs. Define the General Accounting operating model as centralized and administered from corporate office. Talent Strategy & Organizational Development The Accounting Manager will monitor the number of transactions each Technician processes to ensure an even distribution of work. The Accounting Manager will actively manage workforce planning tied to branch growth, and the addition of new locations. Oversee training and cross-training of Technicians to maintain back-ups for business continuity. Compliance, Accounting Control, & GAAP Ensure proper accounting controls are in place for the administration of the accounts receivable & accounts payable subledgers. Safeguard company assets with proper control of check stock. Book cash receipts and check disbursements timely and accurately according to GAAP. Ensure Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable accruals are booked each period according to GAAP. Culture & Engagement Champion centralized general accounting culture, engagement, and initiatives across a geographically distributed workforce. Establish enterprise-wide leadership, communication, and engagement activities within general accounting across all sites.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE
Required 7-10+ years of progressive accounting experience ideally in both accounts receivable and accounts payable. Demonstrated experience supervising Accounting Technicians for a multi-site industrial, warehousing, distribution, logistics, or manufacturing organization. Ability to travel across Coric's footprint as needed. Preferred Bachelor's degree in accounting, or a related field is preferred. Background specifically in material handling, industrial equipment, or logistics/distribution sectors. Experience with Microsoft Business Central
ERP. WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Primarily working from the corporate office. Regular exposure to an industrial/warehouse setting; required PPE must be worn on the floor (safety glasses, footwear, high-visibility vest, etc.). Occasional lifting of up to 25 lbs (files, training materials, equipment).
