Directs the accounting staff that prepare financial statements and business activity and forecasting reports and tax filings. Monitors accounting data. Implements and manages accounting policies and procedures. Advises management with regard to finance decisions.
is partnering with a well-established and rapidly growing property management organization to hire an Accounting Manager for its Fridley, MN headquarters. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting leader who enjoys managing teams, improving processes, and supporting a complex, high-volume, multi-entity environment. The organization is experiencing significant growth and offers long-term advancement opportunities, including potential progression into a Controller-level role.
Essential Job Duties:
Lead, mentor, develop, and manage the accounting team Provide oversight and support for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting across multiple properties and entities Review accounting processes and identify opportunities for efficiency, automation, and continuous improvement Manage financial reporting activities in a high-volume accounting environment Review and oversee monthly financial reporting packages and accounting deliverables Maintain strong internal controls, reporting accuracy, and regulatory compliance Work closely with executive leadership and financial stakeholders to support business objectives Monitor and prioritize recurring reporting requirements and operational deadlines Support organizational growth by helping scale accounting processes and workflows Evaluate opportunities to leverage technology, automation, and AI tools to improve efficiency Foster a culture of accountability, urgency, collaboration, and strong follow-through
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; Accounting focus strongly preferred 5-6+ years of financial accounting experience with high-volume AP & AR ownership 3+ years of accounting leadership experience, including direct team management responsibilities Experience leading, coaching, and developing accounting professionals Strong understanding of financial reporting, general ledger accounting, and month-end close processes Experience working within a complex, high-volume, multi-entity environment Property management, real estate, multifamily housing, hospitality, or similar industry experience strongly preferred Strong attention to detail and commitment to financial accuracy Advanced proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel CPA and/or MBA preferred, but not required

Salary:
