Description:
Accounting Manager at The Confluence Hotel, Hastings, Minnesota Join our dynamic team at The Confluence Hotel, a premier hospitality destination in Hastings, Minnesota. We are seeking a dedicated and versatile Accounting Manager who will play a key role in overseeing our financial operations while also managing Human Resources and Payroll functions. Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage all property-level accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and work closely with the centralized accounting office to ensure an appropriate classification of transactions. Ensure compliance with company policies and internal control environment. Review and analyze financial statements, budgets, and cash projections Work closely and effectively with property leadership team through a data-driven decision making process. Manage property payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness Oversee Human Resources functions, including employee onboarding, benefits administration, and compliance with employment laws Oversee HR policies and procedures as determined by the Home Office. Collaborate with department heads to support operational and financial goals Maintain accurate records and ensure data integrity across all financial and HR systems Assist in audits and liaise with external auditors as needed Additional responsibilities as necessary.
Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or related field Proven experience in accounting management, payroll, and HR functions Strong knowledge of accounting principles and payroll regulations Excellent organizational and multitasking skills Proficiency in accounting software and HR management systems Intermediate/advance level of Microsoft Office proficiency, most notably Excel Effective communication and interpersonal skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information Leadership skills with the ability to manage a team and collaborate across departments Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities At The Confluence Hotel, we pride ourselves on fostering a positive work environment that values growth, teamwork, and excellence.
