2989445144-2 Apply for this job now Job Description Consolidated Precision Products is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead plant-level accounting and financial reporting for our aerospace manufacturing operations. This role oversees month-end close, cost accounting, inventory and standard cost updates, capital tracking, and financial analysis to support production and continuous improvement. The Accounting Manager ensures compliance with GAAP, supports audits, develops budgets and forecasts, and partners with operations leaders to drive cost control, margin improvement, and data-driven decision making in a safety and quality-focused environment. Responsibilities Lead month-end close and prepare accurate plant-level financial statements Manage cost accounting, standard costs, and inventory valuation for manufacturing operations Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial KPIs Perform variance and margin analysis to support production and cost reduction initiatives Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and corporate accounting policies Support internal and external audits with accurate documentation Partner with operations leadership on capital projects, pricing, and make/buy decisions Supervise and develop accounting staff, promoting continuous improvement in processes Required Skills Financial reporting Cost accounting Manufacturing accounting GAAP compliance Budgeting and forecasting Variance analysis Inventory accounting Standard cost development ERP/accounting systems Excel/financial modeling
