full-time Newly Created Cost Accounting Manager in St. Louis up to $115k! Our client, a PE-backed healthcare manufacturer, is seeking a Cost Accounting Manager for a newly upgraded role based in their St. Louis facility. Summary Of Primary Duties And Responsibilities The Cost Accounting Manager supports the VP Finance Americas and management team with timely and accurate financial and management reporting. This will include, but is not limited to accounting, budgeting, variance analysis, financial reporting, compliance and KPIs. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Create, update, and maintain accurate costing records with particular attention to cost of goods sold (material, labor, and overhead) and inventory Conduct and support various ad-hoc analysis such as cost studies, variance analysis, product margin and mix analysis (and other projects as required) Supports daily sales reporting to senior management IT liaison between third party IT provider and employees Manages fixed assets and construction in process Responsible for closing entries and review of GL accounts for variances Prepares monthly balance sheet reconciliations and reserve analysis Assists in supporting documentation for public audit Supports the development of quarterly forecasts and the annual budget Identifies and assists with process improvements to business unit reporting Assists in the preparation of sales tax returns Participates in cross functional team meetings to improve business results Updates monthly KPIs on business performance Supports the accounting processes

EXPERIENCE/SKILL/EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

The ideal candidate for this role will have the following qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting Strong GAAP knowledge 4-6 years of experience in cost and inventory accounting (manufacturing industry) Intermediate knowledge of IT solutions, including system downloads and data manipulation Advanced level of data management using Microsoft Excel Strong analytical skills and detail orientation Self-starter, intuitive Solution-oriented mindset and collaborative work approach; creative problem-solving skills Apply Today!
