Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to lead core accounting operations in Greensboro, North Carolina. This role is ideal for a hands-on individual who brings strong technical accounting knowledge, sound judgment, and the ability to work through complex issues with persistence. The successful candidate will partner closely with colleagues across the team, support accurate financial reporting, and help maintain efficient, well-controlled accounting processes.
Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily accounting activities and ensure transactions are recorded accurately in accordance with established accounting principles.
  • Lead the month-end close process, coordinating timelines, reviewing entries, and confirming that financial results are complete and reliable.
  • Manage the general ledger by monitoring account activity, resolving discrepancies, and maintaining accurate supporting documentation.
  • Prepare and review journal entries and account reconciliations to support accurate financial reporting and strong internal controls.
  • Support the preparation of financial statements and provide schedules, analysis, and documentation needed for audit activities.
  • Investigate accounting issues that do not align with expectations, identify root causes, and implement practical solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal team members to improve workflows, share knowledge, and maintain a productive and cooperative work environment.
