F&I Manager - Automotive DealershipPosition Overview We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Finance & Insurance (F&I) Manager to join our dealership team. The F&I Manager plays a critical role in optimizing dealership profitability by securing financing for customers, offering extended warranties and protection products, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Finance & Product Sales :
Offer and secure vehicle financing options through approved lenders, presenting customers with extended service contracts, insurance, and other protection products.
Maximize Profitability :
Work with customers to ensure they understand financing terms, rates, and optional add-ons while maximizing profitability for the dealership.
Lender & Bank Relations :
Maintain strong relationships with financial institutions to negotiate the best financing rates and terms.
Regulatory Compliance :
Ensure all transactions comply with state and federal regulations, including proper disclosure of terms, fees, and contracts.
Customer Experience :
Provide a smooth and professional experience for customers throughout the financing and insurance process, ensuring clarity and satisfaction.
Sales Team Collaboration :
Work closely with the sales team to ensure deals are structured efficiently and approved quickly.
Documentation & Paperwork :
Oversee the accurate completion of all finance-related paperwork, contracts, and vehicle title documents.
Training & Development :
Provide training and support to sales staff on financing options, compliance, and F&I product offerings.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Experience :
Minimum of 2-3 years in automotive finance and insurance or a related field.
Education :
High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
Skills :
Strong negotiation and sales skills. Excellent communication and customer service abilities. Knowledge of state and federal compliance regulations (e.g., Truth in Lending, Fair Credit Reporting Act). Proficiency in dealership management software (Dealertrack).
