Full Job Description Overview:

To provide operational support through management of financial data for a portfolio of 20-25 properties. Provide timely and accurate financial information to senior management, operational vice presidents, owners, investors and lenders. Monitor accounting and operational compliance with all federal/state agencies and MMA policies and procedures.

Account Analysis c. Board Meeting Preparation i. BOR Review ii. Research and Support iii. Note Preparation d. Government Reporting i. Excess Income Reports ii. Agency Reports e. Replacement/Capital Additions Schedules i. YTD Expenditures ii. Adequacy of monthly funding II. Quarterly Responsibilities a. Reserve for Replacement i. Budget/Requirement ii. Funding Level III. Annual Responsibilities a. Budgets i. Preparation ii. Analysis iii. Review iv. Approval b. Year End Closing i. General Ledger Maintenance ii. Receivables 1. Government 2. Tenant c. Financial Statements i. Assist in preparation of audit ii. Draft Review iii. Auditor Entries IV. Miscellaneous a. Document Review i. Mortgages ii. Contracts iii.
Partnership Agreements Qualifications:
Required Experience:
Two years' accounting experience
Required Education/Training:
Bachelor degree or higher in accounting curriculum.
Required Skills and Abilities:
Advanced mathematical and analytical skills, computer skills, demonstrate understanding of billing, receivable and payable systems, demonstrate understanding of accounting/bookkeeping principles, demonstrate concise oral and written communication abilities and demonstrate planning and control abilities.
Working Conditions:
Primarily work in an Office environment, may on occasion be required to travel either day or overnight if required for business purposes.
Salary Range Information:
The range displayed on each job posting reflects the targeted base salary for the position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
