Medical/Dental/Vision401k PTO We are looking for an experienced financial reporting leader to guide the close and consolidation process for a growing wholesale distribution organization in Edison, New Jersey. This role is ideal for someone who is detail oriented and has a strong background in public accounting and audit, with the ability to translate complex accounting matters into clear, accurate reporting for business stakeholders. The position will play a key part in maintaining compliance with U.S. GAAP, supporting external audit activities, and strengthening reporting processes across the finance function.
Responsibilities:
  • Direct the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close cycle to ensure timely and accurate financial results.
  • Oversee the preparation and review of consolidated financial statements, along with reporting packages used by leadership.
  • Monitor balance sheet accuracy by supervising reconciliations, investigating variances, and validating supporting analysis.
  • Evaluate technical accounting matters and apply new accounting standards in a manner that supports compliance and consistency.
  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting workflows through automation and enhancements to financial systems, including SAP S/4HANA-related initiatives.
  • Collaborate with teams across FP&A, Tax, Treasury, Operations, and IT to support reporting needs and broader finance projects.
  • Coordinate audit deliverables and serve as a primary finance contact for external auditors during review and year-end procedures.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop accounting and financial reporting staff to build a high-performing team environment.
