Full time role & On - site Freehold This individual will be responsible for directing and coordinating the overall functions of the Business Office to ensure maximization of cash flow while improving patient, physician and other customer relations. Responsibilities Plans and&directs®istration,&patient insurance,&billing,&collections,&data≺ocessing&to&ensure accurate patient&billing,∧&efficient∾count&collection. Manages&the Business Office&within&the established budget∈cluding&annual&planning.&Develops monthly&status&reports. Plans and⪯pares&monthly&revenue&reports&for review∧&utilization by&senior≤adership∧&Physician&Partners. Provides ad-hoc&reports&on&associated&revenue&metrics∧&Key&Performance&Indicators&(KPI s) such&as&but¬&limited&to;&wRVU∏uction,&Charge&Entry&Lags,&Collection&Rates,&Denial&Rate, Denial&Overturn&Rate,&etc.&as&requested&by&senior&Leadership∧&Physician&Partners Establishes and&maintainsworking&relationship&with&all third∂y&vendors, both∈ and&out&of network,&assigned to&the&billing&office.&Oversees&all collection&efforts,∾count&management∧ related patient&to vendor relationships. Manages&Physician&credentialing≺ocess&with&managed&care and&government payors&as requested/needed by&Physician&Partners.&Ensures&credentialing&is∁leted in&a timely manner. &Develops, supervises∧&maintains daily&cash≺ocessing&workflows∧&associate reconciliations.&Ensure&all&monies&received to≥neral≤dgers&match the posted receipts∈&the practice&management system. Reviews¤t&status&of patient accounts&to&identify∧&resolves&billing∧≺ocessing problems in a&timely&manner. &Directly⊇rvises&front&end∧ accounts&receivable&collection&team.&Monitors≺ogress&of team&ondaily&basis and&re-directs&follow&up&efforts&as appropriate. Establishes and&implements methodologies&for the&collection&of&delinquent accounts&ensuring both patients∧&third-party&payors&are&contacted. &Establishes and&recommends credit∧&collection&policies,∧&makes&recommendations for improvement. Solves difficult payment and&associated&business&office≺oblems. Audits≺oblem∾counts. Maintains contacts&with&all≺actice&departments&to&obtain∧&analyze&additional&patient information&to&document∧≺ocess&billings. Develops and&implements≠w≺ocedures&to&improve&the quality∧&quantity&of&work processed.&Ensure&policies&are communicated and&administered consistently. Develops and&oversees business&systems∧&works&with information&technology&to ensure timely∧∾curate&implementation. ⋑ervises,&trains,∨ients∧&evaluates&performance&of assigned personnel. Recommends merit∈creases,≺omotions, disciplinary∾tions. Monitors daily&operating∾tivity&of&respective department∧&makes≠cessary&adjustments∈ work&assignments. Initiates∧&answers&pertinent correspondence.&Maintains&required records∧&files. Maintains knowledge&of and∁lies&with&established&policies∧≺ocedures∈cluding patients,&government, insurance∧&third∂y&payor®ulations. Oversight&of∈surance⪙igibility&reviews Attends administrative&meetings and∂icipates∈&committees&as requested.&Conducts&special projects∧&studies as&directed. Participates∈≺ofessional&development∾tivities∧&maintains professional affiliations. & & &Maintains confidentiality&as regards patient account&status.
