Job Description
Assistant Manager-Fund Accounting Livingston, NJ (Hybrid, three days per week onsite) Monday to Friday 9 am to 6 pm Some of the things you will be doing: Manage client relationships Review financial statements, and support schedules, including waterfall calculations (GAAP & OCBOA) Review SBA compliance reporting, including SBA Form 468 Review capital call & distribution calculations and letters Ensure that best practices are used by client service team and look for process improvements Assist internal teams with all client deliverables as needed Career development, supervision, and training of staff Assist with special projects as needed Perform internal administrative tasks, including document management and time tracking What technical skills, experience, and qualifications do you need? BS Degree in Accounting-CPA or CPA candidate preferred Experience in portfolio/investment and partnership accounting required, experience leading a team is necessary Working knowledge of US GAAP Thorough understanding of key terms of fund documents Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, SUMIF, IF, XIRR, SUBTOTAL, ROUND, named ranges) Private equity accounting software experience a plus Able to multitask and perform tasks under strict deadlines Experience delegating, training, and supervising multiple staff Experience managing multiple client relationships Strong professional verbal and written communication skills Attention to detail and strong organizational skills At CSC, compensation decisions are dependent on a number of factors including job location and the knowledge and experience of each individual.
