This role manages core accounting functions, financial reporting, compliance, and cash management while partnering closely with leadership and department managers. The ideal candidate is organized, process‑driven, and comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Accounts Payable & Vendor Management (Approx. 25%) Full-cycle AP processing including invoice coding, approvals, payments, and vendor communication Maintain accurate vendor records and ensure timely payments Monitor cash disbursements and support vendor relationships Assist with purchasing controls and expense tracking Financial Reporting & Month-End Close (Approx. 25%) Lead monthly and year-end close processes Prepare and reconcile general ledger accounts and bank reconciliations Prepare timely and accurate monthly financial statements and management reports Assist with annual budgeting and forecasting Analyze financial results and provide reporting support to leadership Support external accountants and auditors Accounting Management & Operational Support (Approx. 50%) Manage federal and state excise tax reporting and filings Prepare and file gross receipts tax reports Oversee inventory and production accounting processes Manage cash flow reporting and projections Participate in budget preparation and departmental planning Identify and implement accounting and operational process improvements Maintain internal controls and accounting procedures Provide administrative and cross-functional support as needed Serve as backup for HR functions, including payroll and personnel administration Participate as an active member of the leadership team Qualifications Required 5+ years of accounting or full-charge bookkeeping experience Strong accounts payable experience Experience with production and/or inventory accounting Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, data analysis) Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and financial reporting Experience preparing and filing tax reports (excise and GRT preferred) Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills Strong communication and collaboration skills High degree of integrity and confidentiality Preferred Experience in brewery, manufacturing, food & beverage, or hospitality industries Payroll and/or HR support experience Experience with ERP or POS systems Associate's degree in Accounting About Marble Brewery Marble Brewery is committed to producing exceptional beer and delivering memorable guest experiences across our communities.
