Job Description Supervisory responsibility of non-gaming revenue audit team. Reviews work product of non-gaming revenue audit team and ensures work is completed timely. Leadership responsibility for compliance with company internal controls and policies. Leadership responsibility to coach, mentor, and train non-gaming revenue audit team. Leadership responsibility to meet non-gaming revenue audit Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to properties and other key stakeholders. Ensure workload is distributed appropriately to meet or exceed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to maximize and improve services provided.

Ethics:
Demonstrates integrity and exercises discretion in handling confidential information. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and company policies, practices, and procedures. Supervises revenue audit staff and oversees job performance. Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulatory requirements including SOX, gaming regulations, minimum internal control requirements, IRS, anti-money laundering laws and internal control requirements. Utilizes performance metrics to manage team performance and understand opportunities for improvement. Ensures resources are allocated appropriately to meet or exceed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to maximize and improve services provided. Reviews daily audits, Internal Control Exception Reports (ICERs), audit documentation, and revenue journal entries for completeness and accuracy. Provides continuous coaching, mentoring, and training to non-gaming revenue audit team. Manage and oversee time/attendance and scheduling of revenue auditors. Reviews daily audits and revenue journal entries for completeness and accuracy. Ensures all transactional activity is recorded timely and accurately. Leads daily huddles with revenue audit team. Ensures fraud risk findings are communicated to and investigated by appropriate property personnel. Communicate problems or discrepancies to management in a timely and efficient manner. Promote, develop, and maintain effective communication, interaction, and excellent relationship with internal customers, including ensuring their requirements are identified and consistently met. To promote an effective relationship between the department, the operating property, other departments and to ensure effective operational processes. Perform all functions with the highest level of integrity. Observe and follow all safety procedures. Performs all other job-related duties as requested. Qualifications At least 3 years of non-gaming/audit experience and/or equivalent. Intermediate level skills with Microsoft Excel/Word/Outlook, basic office equipment, and 10-key. Clear understanding of change management abilities. This should include participating in the development of solutions which require comprehensive shifts in operational practices. Ability to guide design and strategy for use of electronic system tools to improve process, mine data, extract and report data. Able to lead and mentor a team. Working knowledge of company internal controls and policies. Good written, verbal and public presentation communication skills and demonstrate ability to resolve all situations in a professional manner. Excellent customer service skills. Have interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts. Have initiative, strive for continuous improvement. Strong team player that has a direct approach and is solution oriented. Professional appearance and demeanor. Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays. Able to effectively communicate and present in English, in both written and oral forms. Able to obtain/maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses. Ability to prioritize based on urgency and lead team through high volume and stressful time periods.
PREFERRED
One (1) year of accounting supervisory experience preferred. Previous knowledge and experience with Boyd Gaming Corporation gaming and financial systems (Micros, InfoGenesis, LMS, Lawson, DataMagine). Previous experience working in a similar casino resort or Financial Shared Services Center setting. Bachelor's Degree in accounting, Finance, Business Management or equivalent.
