Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and experienced Automotive Finance Manager to lead our dealership's financing operations with enthusiasm and precision. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for guiding customers through the financing process, structuring deals that meet both client needs and regulatory standards, and maximizing profitability through effective upselling and client relationship management. Your expertise in automotive financing, loan processing, and industry regulations will drive customer satisfaction and ensure compliance across all transactions. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence the customer experience while supporting the dealership's financial success. Responsibilities Facilitate the loan approval process by analyzing credit applications, conducting credit analysis, and ensuring compliance with all applicable financial regulations such as TILA (Truth in Lending Act) and automotive industry standards. Structure auto loans and lease agreements, negotiating terms that benefit both the customer and the dealership while adhering to regulatory guidelines. Manage customer relationships by providing transparent communication, explaining financing options clearly, and upselling additional products like insurance or extended warranties to enhance customer value. Process all aspects of automotive financing including title processing, contract preparation, and loan documentation using financial software systems such as DealerTrack DMS or similar platforms. Ensure all transactions comply with financial regulatory requirements, including credit reporting laws and dealership-specific policies. Collaborate with sales teams to support automotive sales efforts through effective financing solutions, contributing to overall dealership revenue growth. Maintain detailed records of all deals, conduct regular audits for compliance, and stay updated on industry knowledge of financial regulations affecting auto loans and sales. Skills Proven experience in loan officer roles within the automotive or financial services industry with a strong understanding of transaction structuring and credit analysis. Exceptional customer relationship management skills with a focus on client communication and service excellence. Deep knowledge of automotive sales industry regulations, including TILA, Title processing procedures, and compliance standards. Proficiency in financial software such as DealerTrack DMS or equivalent systems for loan processing and deal structuring. Strong negotiation skills to close deals effectively while maintaining regulatory compliance. Basic math skills including 10-key typing accuracy for quick data entry and calculations related to finance agreements. Familiarity with automotive financing products like insurance options, extended warranties, and upselling techniques to maximize deal profitability.
