Primary Job Functions The Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department, ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance with regulations, and supervising the accounting team. Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, including: General ledger Accounts payable and receivable Bank reconciliations Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Ensure compliance with GAAP and all applicable federal, state, and local regulations Lead the month-end and year-end close processes Develop and enforce internal controls to safeguard company assets Coordinate and support external audits and tax filings Analyze financial data and provide insights to senior leadership Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning Supervise, train, and develop accounting staff Identify and implement process improvements for efficiency and accuracy

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 5+ years of accounting experience (with at least 2 years in a supervisory role preferred) Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks or similar ERP systems) Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Supports team operations by managing workload fluctuations and fulfilling overflow tasks as needed to ensure seamless workflow. Strong attention to detail and accuracy Effective communication and leadership abilities

Preferred:
