BDeWees Consulting Akron, OH Job Details Part-time $23 - $27 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Teamwork Attention to detail Organizational skills Business Full Job Description Job Summary We are seeking a dependable, detail oriented Accounting Admin. to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys both accounting and administrative work, takes pride in maintaining accurate financial records, and thrives in a collaborative environment. As part of a family of affiliated companies, you will play a key role in supporting daily accounting operations while also providing administrative assistance across multiple businesses. We are looking for someone who is organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities with professionalism and confidentiality. Key Responsibilities Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable. Process customer invoices and collections. Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and other balance sheet accounts. Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals and adjusting entries. Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year end financial reporting. Process payroll accurately and on time. Maintain organized and accurate financial records. Perform daily bookkeeping activities. Manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively. Provide administrative support to affiliated companies located within the same facility. Enter customer orders for affiliated businesses as needed. Assist with additional accounting, administrative, and operational duties as assigned. Qualifications Experience with bookkeeping and accounting software, including QuickBooks. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook. Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment. High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information. Self motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Previous bookkeeping or accounting experience required. Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field preferred. The ideal candidate is dependable, trustworthy, and takes ownership of their work. This person enjoys solving problems, staying organized, and helping keep business operations running efficiently. Because this role supports several affiliated companies, flexibility and a willingness to assist wherever needed are essential.
Pay:
$23.00 - $27.00 per hour
