Position Summary The Property & Company Accounting Manager will support the day-to-day financial and administrative operations of multiple real estate properties. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, comfortable working with accounting software, and capable of managing financial records, vendor coordination, utility billing, and property-related reporting. The ideal candidate will have experience with bookkeeping functions, accounts payable/receivable, and property management systems such as AppFolio or QuickBooks. ResponsibilitiesAccounts Payable (AP) Enter and code vendor invoices accurately by property and expense category Maintain organized documentation for all invoices and payments Prepare ACH, check, and wire payments for approval Monitor due dates and ensure timely vendor payments Accounts Receivable (AR) & Rent Tracking Record rent payments and other incoming funds Monitor tenant balances and outstanding receivables Assist with delinquency tracking and communication with property management teams Generate and maintain AR aging reports Rent Roll & Property Reporting Maintain accurate rent rolls across multiple properties Track lease terms, occupancy changes, and rental amounts Assist with financial reporting and property budget tracking Utility & Expense Management Manage and organize utility accounts and billing records Track vendor invoices, expenses, and payments by property Maintain accurate records of payable and receivable activity Organize budgets and document all payment activity Cash, Credit Card & Loan Tracking Record and categorize company credit card transactions Match receipts to charges and maintain supporting records Track deposits and cash activity Maintain loan schedules, balances, due dates, and payment tracking Construction & Budget Coordination Track project expenses and budgets by property Compare actual costs against budget expectations Flag discrepancies and cost overruns for review Vendor Management & Compliance Maintain vendor files and W-9 documentation Assist with 1099 preparation Ensure vendor records remain accurate and current Document Management & Internal Controls Organize and maintain digital files including invoices, receipts, contracts, and loan documents Ensure financial records are uploaded and maintained consistently Follow payment approval workflows and internal accounting procedures Identify unusual or high-value expenses for management review Bookkeeping & Reporting Support Maintain accurate and organized records for external bookkeeping and accounting teams Assist with monthly reporting and financial close preparation Qualifications Experience with accounting or property management software such as AppFolio, QuickBooks, or similar platforms Strong organizational and time management skills High attention to detail and accuracy Ability to manage multiple properties and priorities simultaneously Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace preferred Prior experience in bookkeeping, property management, accounting support, or real estate operations preferred What We Offer Health Insurance Reimbursement Employee Discount Paid Time Off Parental Leave Opportunity for growth within a growing real estate company Hands-on experience in property management and real estate operations Collaborative and professional work environment Stable, long-term position with career development opportunitiesPay:
