Overview Join our dynamic automotive sales team as a Used Car Finance Manager, where your expertise will drive customer satisfaction and dealership success! In this vital role, you will oversee the financing process for used vehicle sales, ensuring seamless transaction structuring while providing exceptional customer service. Your industry knowledge and negotiation skills will help clients secure the best financing options, fostering long-term relationships and repeat business. This position offers an energetic environment where your financial acumen and dealership experience will shine, contributing to a thriving automotive sales operation. Duties Manage the entire used car financing process, including credit analysis, loan processing, and transaction structuring to meet dealership and customer needs. Build strong relationships with customers by providing transparent information on automotive financing, insurance options, and related services. Offer additional products such as extended warranties, insurance packages, and aftermarket accessories to enhance customer value. Collaborate closely with sales staff to facilitate smooth deal negotiations, ensuring compliance with automotive sales industry regulations and financial regulations like TILA (Truth in Lending Act). Utilize industry-standard financial software and tools such as CDK (Dealer Management System) to process loans accurately and efficiently. Ensure all financing activities adhere strictly to legal requirements, including credit reporting standards, title processing, and documentation accuracy. Conduct credit analysis and client communication to determine eligibility while maintaining compliance with financial regulatory standards. Qualifications Proven experience as a loan officer or finance manager within the automotive or financial services industry. Strong understanding of automotive sales regulations, financial compliance standards, and industry-specific legal requirements. Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to upsell products effectively while maintaining integrity. Proficiency in financial software such as CDK or similar dealership management systems. Solid math skills including basic calculations and 10-key typing proficiency for accurate transaction processing. Exceptional customer relationship management skills with a focus on client communication and service excellence. Knowledge of credit analysis, loan processing procedures, TILA regulations, title processing, and contract management.
