Job Description

Accounting Manager PrideStaff, a staffing company based in Bend Oregon is seeking an Accounting Office Manager to support a growing team for a manufacturing company local to Bend. They will coordinates with the Sales and Operations team to ensure revenue recognition, invoicing, and collections occur regularly; and provides office and administrative support as needed. Essential Functions Accounting Create invoices from delivery notes daily; apply the revenue to the appropriate General Ledger accounts; send invoices to customers via email or upload to the payment portals, depending on customer specifications Accurately investigate, code, and process accounts payable with appropriate approval according to internal control requirements Maintain vendors information and set up new vendors as needed Manage accounts receivable payments: accurately post payments and complete bank deposits to the correct bank account Proactively research and resolve delays in accounts receivables and payables Process credit applications Maintain/balance petty cash Propose changes to policies and procedures to improve efficiency while ensuring adequate internal controls If there are delays in customer payments, work with the Sales team to resolve in a timely manner Office Coordinate office maintenance, renovations, and other building related projects with DENT management and the landlord, as needed Interact with customers via phone and email. Maintain office inventory levels. Onboard new staff by creating employee files and assisting with benefit registration. Other Implement processes improvement to ensure smooth running of the office functions. Competencies Accounting Technical Capabilities Business Acumen Communication Proficiency Customer/Client Focus Problem Solving/Analysis Results Driven Education and Experience Associate's degree and 2+ years of related experience or high school diploma and 4+ years of related experience Solid knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required Understanding of General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) Knowledge of SAP business software a plus Executive level communication skills, both written and verbal Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work individually and as part of a team Must handle confidential information A high level of attention to detail required Job Factors This job operates in a professional office environment.
