Obtain Contact Information Job Summary Description Kevin Wong with Robert Half is looking for an experienced Accounting Manager/Supervisor to oversee core financial operations and support day-to-day administrative accounting functions in Hillsboro, Oregon. This position plays a key role in maintaining accurate records, coordinating payroll and benefits-related activities, and helping ensure timely reporting across the organization. The ideal candidate brings strong accounting judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities:
- Manage the full cycle of accounts payable activities, including reviewing invoices, verifying supporting documentation, and ensuring timely payment processing.
- Examine and approve employee expense submissions while maintaining accurate records and compliance with company policies.
- Record financial transactions in QuickBooks and maintain tracking tools that support reporting accuracy and operational visibility.
- Prepare recurring and ad hoc financial reports, monitor accounting data, and help support annual budgeting activities.
- Administer payroll processing and coordinate banking-related tasks to maintain smooth day-to-day financial operations.
- Serve as a point of contact for HR-related administrative matters, including supporting onboarding steps for new employees.
- Oversee insurance-related administration, including renewals, policy updates, address changes, and communication with external carriers.
- Coordinate annual compliance activities such as workers' compensation audits, retirement plan tracking and review, and corporate card payment management.
- Maintain supporting logs and trackers for invoices, travel-related reporting, and other accounting documentation to promote organized recordkeeping.

- Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting, including journal entry preparation and account analysis.
- Experience performing account reconciliations and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Familiarity with financial statement audits and the ability to prepare documentation for audit support.
- Proficiency with QuickBooks and strong capability in accounting data entry, tracking, and reporting.
- Working knowledge of payroll administration, accounts payable processes, and banking procedures.
