Job Description

Knaub Real Estate and Development Group is seeking an organized, dependable, and detail-oriented Finance & Property Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day financial activities of our real estate, development, and affiliated companies. This position will manage bookkeeping, invoicing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, financial reporting, budgeting, and cash-flow tracking. The person in this role will also work closely with ownership to help oversee multiple companies, properties, and active projects. The ideal candidate is proactive, trustworthy, highly organized, and comfortable working in a growing business where priorities and responsibilities may change. Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate financial records for multiple companies, properties, and projects.
  • Manage bookkeeping and general ledger activity.
  • Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable.
  • Prepare and send invoices and account statements.
  • Follow up professionally on outstanding receivables.
  • Review, enter, and process vendor invoices.
  • Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, loans, and other financial accounts.
  • Track revenue and expenses by company, property, and project.
  • Monitor cash flow, upcoming payments, and financial obligations.
  • Prepare regular financial reports for ownership.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
  • Track project expenses and compare costs with approved budgets.
  • Help ownership monitor the financial performance of the different companies and projects within the organization.
  • Maintain organized financial, vendor, contract, and project records.
  • Coordinate with accountants, lenders, insurance providers, vendors, contractors, and other business partners.
  • Help improve financial and operational systems across the organization.
  • Assist ownership with special projects and general operational needs.
  • Perform additional administrative and operational duties as needed. Qualifications
  • Three or more years of bookkeeping, accounting, finance, or related experience.
  • Strong knowledge of accounts receivable, accounts payable, invoicing, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
  • Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple companies, projects, priorities, and deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and solve problems proactively.
  • High level of integrity, discretion, and accountability.
  • Experience in real estate, construction, development, or property management is preferred. Ideal Candidate
