This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional looking to take the next step in their career and play a key role in the company's financial operations. The Accounting Manager will oversee day-to-day accounting activities, manage the month-end close, prepare and analyze financial reporting. This position will work closely with senior leadership and have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on accounting processes and overall business performance. Responsibilities Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes Oversee general ledger activity, journal entries, and account reconciliations Prepare and review monthly financial statements and management reporting Analyze financial results and investigate budget-to-actual and period-over-period variances Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management, and other accounting functions Maintain accurate and timely general ledger records Develop and improve accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and other outside partners Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and efficiencies Manage, mentor, and develop members of the accounting team Support special projects and other financial initiatives as needed Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 4+ years of progressive accounting experience Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting Proven experience managing a month-end close Strong general ledger and reconciliation experience Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems View the full list of our open positions here: Main Line Search Job Openings
