Accounting Manager (CPA)
Job Type:
Full-Time This role will take ownership of complex accounting matters, financial reporting, account reconciliations, compliance, and client-facing accounting activities. The Accounting Manager will work closely with senior leadership, project teams, clients, auditors, and accounting professionals to ensure accurate financial information and sound accounting practices. The ideal candidate combines strong technical accounting expertise with proven leadership experience and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Oversee accounting operations and financial activities across multiple project and asset management engagements. Apply US GAAP and IFRS principles to complex accounting matters, including derivatives, business combinations, purchase accounting, and related transactions. Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packages. Support the preparation and presentation of audited financial statements, including required disclosures and footnotes. Review accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger activity, reconciliations, and other accounting functions. Investigate and resolve account, banking, and transaction discrepancies. Ensure financial records and accounting processes comply with applicable regulations, company policies, and accounting standards. Prepare financial analysis and reporting packages for clients, internal leadership, and consolidated audit requirements. Coordinate required regulatory and compliance filings to ensure deadlines are consistently met. Assist with annual budgeting, financial planning, and cash flow forecasting. Serve as a primary accounting contact for multiple sophisticated client relationships. Evaluate contracts and complex agreements to determine the appropriate accounting treatment. Develop and strengthen accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls. Provide financial insights and recommendations to improve accounting processes and reporting efficiency. Respond to accounting-related questions from internal teams, clients, and senior management. Lead, mentor, and support junior accounting professionals. Take on additional accounting and financial reporting projects as directed by the Controller. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a closely related field. CPA License required 7+ years of progressive accounting experience . Demonstrated experience managing accounting staff or junior professionals. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements. Advanced understanding of US GAAP and/or applicable current leasing/accounting standards. Experience developing and managing complex financial reporting packages. Hands-on experience preparing annual audited financial statements and related footnotes. Ability to analyze complex contracts and agreements and translate them into appropriate accounting treatment. Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple complex assignments simultaneously in a high-growth environment.
Pay:
$90,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year Application Question(s): Must have CPA license and experience working in Public Accounting firm.
