Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to join our team. In this vital role, you will oversee engagements and team members, ensure financial accuracy, and maintain compliance with industry standards and regulations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in accounting systems, financial software, and regulatory compliance, with a passion for delivering precise financial statements.
Requirements :
A strong background in financial concepts, accounting principles, and financial management. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. Minimum of 8 years of related experience in bookkeeping, accounting and/or financial analysis, preferably in public accounting. Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of Thomson Reuters Software, QuickBooks or Karbon software is a plus. Self-motivated, highly organized, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team. Strong written and oral communication skills. CPA license is a plus.
Responsibilities :
Review around 65 month end closes prepared by junior accountants and provide feedback for development. Oversee, train, and prioritize team workloads to ensure assignments are completed within established time frames. Maintain and track general ledger accounts to produce monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements for complex clients. Manage the preparation and processing of Forms 1099. Assist with the preparation and filing of sales tax returns prepared by junior accountants. Perform financial analysis and research related to financial statements and recommend improvements to clients. Communicate professionally and demonstrate motivation, ambition, decisiveness, initiative, and a commitment to high-quality work.
