Job Description

Our client, a manufacturing industry leader, is seeking a Cost Accounting Manager to join their team. As a Cost Accounting Manager, you will be part of the Finance department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have analytical thinking, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Shift:
Monday•Friday, 8am•4:30m What's the Job? Maintain and improve the company's cost accounting system to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Analyze manufacturing costs, including raw materials, labor, overhead, scrap, and landed costs. Establish and monitor cost standards, investigate variances, and support continuous improvement initiatives. Prepare and present cost reports, financial statements, and support month-end closing processes. Develop financial models and conduct cost analyses to support decision-making and operational improvements. What's Needed? Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field. Minimum of 5 years' experience in manufacturing cost accounting, inventory accounting, or related areas. Experience with ERP/MRP systems, preferably Syteline. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. Strong knowledge of manufacturing cost accounting, inventory accounting, and
U.S. GAAP
