This is a highly visible role offering the opportunity to oversee day-to-day accounting operations, lead a talented team, and partner closely with senior leadership to support continued growth and operational excellence. Reporting directly to the Controller/CFO, the Accounting Manager will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, strengthening internal controls, and driving process improvements across the accounting function. Leadership role with visibility across the organization Opportunity to mentor and develop accounting staff Collaborative and supportive executive team Stable company with a strong market presence Hybrid work environment Exposure to strategic financial initiatives and business decisions Opportunity to improve processes and enhance operational efficiency Strong company culture focused on teamwork and accountability Professional development and long-term career growth potential CPA supervision available for candidates pursuing licensure Key Responsibilities Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial schedules Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and management reports Supervise Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and general accounting functions Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning Coordinate annual audits and serve as a primary contact for external auditors Maintain and strengthen internal controls and accounting procedures Support system enhancements and process improvement initiatives Mentor and develop accounting team members Partner with operational leaders to provide financial insights and support decision-making Ideal Background Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field CPA designation or CPA-track preferred 5+ years of progressive accounting experience Prior supervisory or management experience Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting Experience with month-end close, audits, and account reconciliations Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment Experience within distribution, manufacturing, healthcare, professional services, or similar industries is a plus
Compensation & Benefits Base Salary:
$90,000
