- so you'll play a hands-on role in shaping the systems and processes the team will run on for years to come. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who loves living in the details, is technically sharp, and gets energized

If you lead from the front, hold a high bar for accuracy, and like building things better than you found them, we'd love to meet you. Position Responsibilities Lead and develop the team
- directly supervise, coach, and grow a team of accountants; set clear goals, manage performance, and provide ongoing training and mentorship. Own your team's results and workload rather than simply routing information up and down. Own the general ledger
- oversee and manage the general ledger accounting function, ensuring transactions are recorded accurately, completely, and on time. Drive the close
- manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual close; review and analyze financial information for accuracy and completeness before it reaches leadership and stakeholders. Improve and document processes
- dig into current accounting workflows, learn them quickly, and identify opportunities to streamline, tighten controls, and add efficiency
- then build clear, repeatable documentation and standard operating procedures that hold up as the company grows. Serve as a technical resource
- act as a go-to expert for the team on complex accounting matters, ensuring correct application of GAAP and sound judgment on non-routine transactions. Lead the audits
- plan for and manage annual audits, serving as a key partner to the external audit team. Partner cross-functionally
- work closely with others in the finance department and operations teams to support accurate reporting and shared goals. Support system and process change
- play a key role in the Oracle EBS-to-Fusion ERP migration and the Avalara sales tax implementation, helping design, test, and operationalize new workflows. Take on the ad hoc
- perform special analysis and projects as needed, managing multiple competing priorities and deadlines at once. Champion change
