Accounting Manager

Accounting Manager Our client, a rapidly scaling technology-enabled services company, is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead general ledger operations and support a growing, multi-entity environment.

Location:

Austin, TX. This position follows a hybrid work schedule, 3 days/week in the office.

Job Description:

This role will partner closely with accounting and operational teams to drive accurate financial reporting, strengthen processes, and manage a small team through continued growth. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating in a complex, fast-paced organization.

Responsibilities:

Own general ledger activities and ensure accurate, timely month-end close across multiple entities Manage and review account reconciliations, journal entries, and close deliverables Support consolidated financial reporting in accordance with

U.S. GAAP

Partner cross-functionally with operations, payroll, and invoicing teams to ensure compliant accounting processes Identify and implement process improvements to support scalability and efficiency Support quarterly and annual audits, including preparation of audit schedules and responses Lead and develop accounting team members through coaching, feedback, and performance management Serve as a business partner to internal stakeholders, providing financial insight and support

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; CPA preferred 6+ years of progressive accounting experience, including people management Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and general ledger accounting Hands-on experience with month-end close in a multi-entity environment Ability to operate independently and lead in a growing, dynamic organization
